I can feel myself recovering my literacy! Hooray! I am going to seize the moment of feeling like reading to read so much. Hopefully bring kindle everywhere and constantly tinkering with it will let this period last for a long time.

I have begun by reading Northanger Abbey. It's fun to slowly remember the plot from the film adaptation I watched years ago. Quite a bit way through in just two days so I'm gonna attempt to be fast fast reading hehe.

I had a fun time jailbreaking my old kindle today. Haven't got any especially exciting new functionality but it is nice to be free of Amazon's chains. Scheming which adorable bat to have as a screensaver :)

New Teamfight tactics set is out! Mechanic is basically Hades, and shall hopefully be lotsa fun. I have been neglecting playing games properly for a while I think, website fiddling about has filled that niche for a time but I wanna get back into it proper.

Big travel day today. Tried channeling away my travel anxieties into excitement instead, and it kinda worked! In the end I only a bit of stressin. Had a lovely time listening to the Parkstop podcast about the Disney Villains land rumours. Exciting business :)

I can feel my body creating an evil store of recent stresses. Belly ache... Ribs owie... So I will Decompress myself this week. It shall be done. And also fix my sleep schedule... that'll help... I suppose... ughhhhhhhhhh so much effort...

The final episodes of The Other Bennet Sister are out! I would rate as pretty decent show. Costumes pretty good. Pacing in the second-to-last episode did fall a bit flat with SO many instances of "Let's have a conversation later", and then said later conversation being interrupted accidentally. About 5 times of this becomes too much. But all in all good series, Mrs Bennet veered on comedic evil early on but was lended more reaslism later on which was well done.

It is a bit ridiculous that they repeatably try to emphasis Mary's unsuitability to comedic degrees, then saddle her with Too Many suitors, but alas. To be expected from what is ultimately a romance, in the end.

I have been having excellent fun making many little honeycomb stamps. I love the interlocking of them, they feel so segmentable. I feel required to make a stamp for each little piece of my brain. Currently I can only remember video game pieces of my brain but I'll remember other stuff eventually.

Somehow, we managed to watch 2 seperate adaptions of Persuaion today, and a third yesterday (though it was the recent Netflix one and it left me slightly wincing whenever I paid attention to it). I watched just the ending of the first, the 1995 BBC adapation, and wished I had watched it from the beginning, it's quite lovely. The grumpy Captain Wentworth is particularly enjoyable.

The Persuaion I watched in it's entirety was the 2007 TV movie. Almost perfect casting, outside of a slightly less charismatic Wentworth (sorry). The costumes made me very happy; Bonnets Bonnets Bonnets! The camera shake did veer toward unintended comedy at some points. Falling off a small log has never felt so dramatic. But the most comedic thing of all is that this and the 1995 film used the exact same location for the young lady falling and hitting her head. The exact same location. Same bridge. Same stairs. I suppose there isn't that much variety in coastal stairs near Bath, but still. Those stairs are very fall-offable.

I am become blog! Destroyer of blogs!

I am beginning a blog so that I may remember what is happening each day instead of having it wash over me like a fine mist lol. And also I want to get into the habit of writing, at least enough writing so that I can have a few sentences without feeling cringe about it.

Today I watched The Martian. I had watched the beginning some other time without finishing it somehow, but I finally finished watching it this time. Potatos out of 10. I have no idea what is or isn't plausible in a semi-realistic sci-fi film like this, I typically enjoy more silly billy space stuff, but still jood film.
